- 35 Rupya
An 11 year old boy entered a hotel and sat at a table. The waiter came and put a glass of water in front of him.
“ek plate Misalpav kitna ?”
“50 Rupya,” the waiter replied.
The boy started to think and puts his hand into pocket looking for cash in hand.
“Kya hua? jaldi bata du ki nahi…” said the waiter abruptly.
The little boy started checking his pocket for how much money is he having. All he found was a 20 Rupees note and few coins of 5.
With an eerie smile, the boy asked “Uncle, Misal se sastha wala dusra kya hein? Bhel kitneka hein?”
The waiter was impatient as he had customers waiting on other tables.
“35 Rupya” he said gruffly.
The little boy looked into the money again. “Bhel dedo ek plate,” he said.
The waiter brought the ordered dish, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the Bhel, paid the cashier and departed.
When the waiter came back, he began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what he saw.
There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 Rupees – his tip.
- A Train Travel
A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…
“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed.
“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”
The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…
“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man smiled and said…”I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from the birth, he just got his eyes today.
