Six Indian Entries Won At Asian TV Awards 2017

Six Indian entries including three shows and three production team professionals secured prestigious awards at the 22nd edition of the Asian Television Awards 2017 held at Singapore. Great winners include TV shows from India, Korea and Singapore. Nikkhil Advani triumphed in winning the Best Director Award (fiction) for his show on Star Plus, P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke produced by Advani’s Emmay Entertainment and distributed by Keshet International. Taste Match on Living Foodz, by BBC Worldwide Media was the winner in the Best Talkshow category.


Toonz Entertainment’s Fruit Ninja won the award for Best 3D Animated Show on YouTube India whereas Aalaap Majgaonkar won the Best Editing Award for the Hotstar-released short film Paanipath, produced by Karma Features.


Hermant Deodhar won the award for Best Theme Song for Khulta Kali Khulena on Zee Marathi, produced by Atharva Theatre and Events. The Viral Fever’s TVF Tripling bagged the award for Best Scriptwriting for Web Series category.
