Shrine of the Infant Jesus is a church located at Upnagar, Nashik road where devotees flock in from various parts of India and Overseas. Especially the huge number of pilgrims is seen in the month of Februarys for the feast of the shrine. These dates keep on changing yearly.
There are holy masses celebrated all day long in different languages like English, Hindi Marathi, Konkani, Malayalam, Telugu, etc. There is a 9-day novena organized every year followed by the feast day at the shrine of Infant Jesus in Nashik.
The speciality of the shrine of the Infant Jesus is the prayer being answered by the devotees which draw them in big number every year. Various religious articles are displayed on stalls for devotees to purchase such as Bible, rosaries, medals, sacred images, rings, bracelets, holy water, holy oil, candles, CDs, DVDs, prayer books, etc. There are also stalls for delicious mouth-watering snacks and sweets put up by which the part of the fund collected goes into the betterment of society and helping the underprivileged.
There is accommodation facility which can be availed for those who come from a far distance to celebrate the feast, where the sanitation is been taken care very keenly.
In the year 2017, there was a special area inaugurated named as Jesus garden where devotees can sit and have a peaceful time besides the statue of Jesus. It is the major attraction for all the age groups and remarkably by the youth where they click the pictures with Jesus.
